IKEA India has reduced prices of several of its products without any end date as part of its long-term move to make home furnishings more affordable.

HyderabadIKEA India has reduced the prices of many of its products without any end date. This reduction has been done as part of long-term steps to make home furnishings more affordable and accessible in the Indian market. This reduction is applicable on both offline and online offers of the company.
The company announced reduced prices for various categories of products, including store and organise furniture, storage solutions, living room seating, bedroom furniture, office storage, kitchen accessories, kids’ storage, etc.
The prices of these products have been reduced by 16 per cent to 39 per cent. This initiative is in line with IKEA’s omnichannel experience for consumers as the lower prices are reflected in their food offerings and services as well.
Susanne Pulverer, CEO and CSO, IKEA India, said, “We are constantly challenging ourselves to find new ways to keep product costs as low as possible without compromising on design, function, quality, sustainability, health or safety.”
He explained that local sourcing, new and innovative solutions and materials, manufacturing techniques, distribution, transportation are some of the ways that help IKEA maintain a competitive price point.
